Was there ever any doubt?
Just a little, but with Two and a Half Men's ratings remaining pretty high all season, we kinda figured it would all work out.
As we said before, Ashton Kutcher's return to the show was up in the air, but now sources report that his return is "imminent." In fact, the renewal of the show and the actor's contract are expected to be announced in a few short weeks since negotiations are "moving in the right direction."
The news comes after the last episode marked a series low in viewership with an 8% ratings drop and only 10.39 million viewers in its 18-49 demographic tuning in.
With how surprisingly well the show has been performing since Charlie Sheen's departure, we doubt CBS is worried about one bad week. Do U think next season should be the show's last or can Kutcher and the network ride this cash cow for a few more?
