Avengers Featurette Is Super Bad AKA Super Good!

| Filed under: Film FlickersScarlett JohanssonRobert Downey Jr.Samuel L. JacksonMark RuffaloChris Evans

"The Avengers should be our finest hour"

That's what Robert "Damn I Should Be Illegal Because I'm So Hot" Downey Jr. said in the brand new Avengers featurette that you should watch immediately (above).

If you get confused over the name Avengers Assemble the reason is this is the featurette for the british version of Avengers.

Wait. The Avengers released in England is called Avengers Assemble?

But seriously, folks, why does England get to see Avengers before we do?

Our comic nerds are not going to like that one bit.

my guess it's the Avengers Assemble due to the British series from the 60's that was unrelated to Marvel

Oh my god, how many times do people have to say to you that Britain isnt just England? There's a whole 3 other countries in there…and being Scottish myself i find it very annoying!!!

I don't get why America teaches it's kids to point at several countries and just say "oh that's England or something…" We are called Great Britain or The United Kingdom, that also involves Wales, Southern Ireland and Scotland. I mean, is it just laziness or do American's just like to paint everyone with the same brush because it's easier for their tiny brains to understand? I guess I shouldn't be surprised, the idea that America would unite with anyone without trying to blow their heads off or exploiting them in some way is ridiculous.

Don't proudly have a banner saying '11 million UK visits per month' and then show annoyance at us getting a film a few days before you? Big deal. You get everything before we do, it's funny that you feel a sense of entitlement to a film just because it has American actors in it.. Chris Hemsworth is Australian so maybe Australia are 'entitled' to the film first..?

They changed the name to Avengers Assemble because there is a film being released in the UK already called The Avengers which is based on a UK t.v series. They've done it so people don't get confused.
