No, not with a fellow inmate, but with his inner romantic…kind of.
While locked in his Rikers Island jail cell, Lil' Wayne wrote an album full of love songs…but not in the traditional way that you and I might know love, this is love, Wayne style:
“I was also recording an album at the same time called Devol, spelled D-E-V-O-L because that’s ‘loved’ spelled backwards, and this is my version of love songs. And what I mean by my version of love songs is meaning they’re not saying I love you. I mean…I’m saying, you know, you know. And it’s all material I did while I was locked up.”
Oh Weeze, you hopeless romantic, you!
Wayne also recorded his jail time jag in memoir Gone Till November.

Say what you want about rappers/rap music (I'm not much of a fan of rap myself), but this guy is a talented writer. I'd be interested to see what he comes out with.
