Flo Rida Owes $80,000 For Missing Australian Concert

Flo Rider owes money to promoter

Flo Rida owes some serious money to a concert promoter in Australia after bailing on a 2011 performance…for which he was paid over $50K upfront to assure his appearance!

That's not exactly what we call professional, but hopefully the rapper learned his lesson, because now, he owes a court-ordered $80,000 to the promoter.

We're not exactly sure WHY, but Flo decided to bail last minute on a show at the Fat as Butter music festival last October due to "unforeseen circumstances."

The promoter, on the other hand, argued in Australian court that the artist had a "hissy fit" just moments before he was scheduled to perform and refused to go on stage.

Not cool! There are A LOT of performers who would have LOVED that opportunity and he chose to squander it instead.

If you're paid to play, you better play!

He was suppossed to perform with PittBull in Moncton, NB in Canada and he never showed up either. I wasn't there, nor was i going to the show, but many friends of mine were and they all said that although they were supposed to see a show of both performers, flo rida never showed. He instead performed for an after party of some sorts in another club and people diddn't even know. So a lot missed out and payed to see him and never saw him! What a bum!
