Kristen Wiig And Company Will Return To SNL For Pre-Election Shows Next Season

Wiig Samberg Sudeikis returning for some episodes

Yes!!!

We were sad to hear that Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg, and Jason Sudeikis would be leaving Saturday Night Live after this season, but are VERY relieved to hear that they'll most likely be appearing on some episodes next year leading up to the election.

Jim Downey — the same writer who revealed to the New York Times that Mitt Romney is "considering" hosting the show — also shared, "I'm sure they would stick around for the pre-election shows."

Who else would play Romney but Sudeikis? And of course we'll need Wiig to play Nancy Pelosi and Samberg for all five of Romney's sons. Ha!

We understand these three are ready to move on to bigger and better things, but we're not quite ready to say goodbye to their presence on SNL just yet!

As sad as it is, and as long as the show has been around, maybe they should consider cancelling after the election. As far as I am aware, not many people watch the show anymore, it's just not the same as it was. And Kristen, Andy, & Jason are pretty much the only funny people left on the show. I don't see much hope for it after they leave.

SNL would be in big trouble if Kristen left because they don't have a strong female lead whose in every sketch. The new girl sucks and the others aren't memorable or have create any sketches we remember. The show would be fine without digital sketches and Jason has been mostly in the background now anyway
