The Jacksons Are Going On Tour This Summer!

| Filed under: Music MinuteMichael Jackson

Jackson unity tour dates

Calling all Jackson 5 fans! While the boys are missing their most famous member, one of the most successful music families in history is reuniting for a MASSIVE summer tour!

Jackie, Jermaine, Tito, and Marlon Jackson will be stopping by nearly every major city in the U.S. between June 18 and July 29 for the Unity Tour 2012.

This will be the first time the brothers toured together since the Victory Tour in 1984 and they couldn't be more excited. Jackie called the event "a dream coming true" and hopes to honor Michael Jackson's spirit, saying:

“This is a dream coming true. I can't believe this is finally happening. There’s nothing like having all the brothers on stage at the same time. This will be exciting for our fans around the world– and I know at each concert, MJ's spirit will be in the house with us.”

It should be fun to see these guys on stage again and we wish them the best of luck. We're sure there will be no shortage of eager fans anxiously awaiting their arrival either!

The Jackson brothers have come across as money-grubbing over the years. Did you ever see them on their short-run reality series? Not a likable group. Can't wish them success.

  2. 2

Who wants to see them? What did any of them even sing . . . I am sure one of their sons will fill in for Michael, but I can't imagine how many of us old folks would see that.

Unity tour is the name of 311's tour the past decade or more.

If Rebbie isn't part of it, I'm not going.

Cashing in on Michael's death. Fucking pathetic.

This is my last warning. Either Perez can start actually MANAGING what made him famous to begin with… or he can go on to be a host and stop pretending. But MOSTLY, I'm gonna make a change, for once in my life, but mostly its just about me getting sick of all the heathens getting ready to sell out, and not make it right.

I don't know how good they are without Michael. It would be better for them if they didn't have outrageous ticket prices and surprised everyone and put on a heck of a show than charge outrageous prices (which I'm sure they will ) and suck.

This is exactly why I’m creeped out by the Tupac thing. I love Pac, and sure wish he wasn’t dead, but this is fucking weird, and will definitely open the floodgates for everyone trying to make a buck off of dead artists. Ridiculous!

Why shouldn't The Jacksons tour and continue to make a living? Yes, Michael undeniably became the star of the group but can everyone please do a little research here before you spout off at the mouth. Little brother Michael wasn't even a member of The Jackson 5 when Joe Jackson first formed the group in the 1950's. He was too young. Those little boys had talent and drive and ambition also. And they worked the asses off. And, they continued to work their asses off, even while they were in Michael's shadow. Yes, Michael eclipsed everyone and everything but WHY SHOULDN'T THE REMAINING GROUP MEMBERS BE ALLOWED TO MAKE A LIVING IN 2012?? Have you ever considered that Michael's unbelievable success may have inadvertantly undermined the rest of them and, their careers. All manners of old musical acts who have STILL perform and tour and appear in, albeit smaller venues, but people still come out to see them and love them. What's wrong with that? These people have bills to be pay, and a legacy to continue. The first concert I ever saw was The Jacksons in 1981. It blew my mind. I became soooo in love with Michael and have remained so and will, FOREVER be absolutely in love with him. But I love the rest of the Jacksons also and I will be there in see and support them.

I have been waiting on this. I loved Michael but he is gone (forever live THE KING OF POP). Why shouldnt the brothers tour? They all started in the music business together.
I will attend at lease 3 of the shows. Maybe Janet will join them in some cities. Good luck
    Jacksons.
