Ke$ha Collaborates With The Flaming Lips On New Track! Check Out 2012 HERE!

There hasn't been much news about Ke$ha's sophomore album, Spandex on the Distant Horizon, for quite some time, but hopefully this will serve a precursor to some new material!

The singer teamed up with The Flaming Lips and Biz Markie for a new track, called 2012 (You Must Be Upgraded), which will be featured on the experimental rock band's latest album, The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends, which is being exclusively released today in honor of Record Store Day, and also features tracks from Chris Martin, Erykah Badu, and Bon Iver (above)!

Wow!

We never know what to expect from Ke$ha when it comes to her sound, but this is certainly unlike anything from her before!

What do U think?? Are U feeling the latest from her??

I don't know what the hell that was supposed to be - but at least it looks like she took a shower.

…Disapointed, SHE'S A PRO SONGWRITER, she should be making way better songs

Sorry, but not at all. I'm no "top 40 fan", but there's just no pleasantness to this. I wouldn't want to listen to it; I'd change then channel.

I liked it! It was creative and the beat was good. I think it's great that she went outside of her comfort zone with this song. I'm hoping everything on her new cd will be innovative like this song! I know most of you who have commented didn't like it, but I think if you gave it another try, you might be more impressed. It's no TikTok, but that's a good thing. Musical artists should grow and expand their sound.

I refuse… to listen… HOW COULD YOU DO THIS FLAMING LIPS? Traders! this chick is horrible, dirty, gross… Now Wayne is gonna die from herpy aids… That is what you get when you make music with a skanky skunky sloot.

The only reason this sounds so awful is because it's sped right up & the pitch has been changed badly… Listen to the actual version on YT :)
