Wow. This is incredible.
One of the most talked about pictures at this year's Tribeca Film Festival is Una Noche, the story of three Cuban teens who attempt to flee Havana and make a new start in America. In a shocking twist, two of the young actors who star in the film have vanished after being flown from Cuba to Miami this week for the film's premiere.
Take about life imitating art!
Anailin de la Rua de la Torre and Javier Nunez Florian, both 20 years old, touched down in Miami earlier this week with their third co-star Dariel Arrechada. However, only Dariel showed up to the film's Tribeca premiere and no one has a clue where the pair have run off too.
As the trio were only granted short term visas for the premiere, they are all expected to return to Cuba in the next few days. While Dariel has insisted he will be returning to his country, it doesn't look as promising that Anailin and Javier will join him.
Here's hoping they do. Being in a movie like this makes them extra recognizable and they are doing more harm than good to themselves by running.
Think better of this plan, you two. And be safe!
