Mike D may be a Beastie Boy, but he’s also a creative beast as evidenced at the opening of his new, collaborative art project: Audio-Visual Club at the Geffen Contemporary.
A performance by mixed-genre artist Santigold ignited the visceral exhibit currently being housed in LA’s MOCA.
The Mike D curated art-baby features installations appealing to all five senses; along with visual and musical art pieces, there is an interactive IPad construct, and Roy Choi's award-winning Kogi Korean BBQ Truck to satisfy your nose and tongue.
A multitude of contemporary artists contributed to the 17 day event, which runs through May 6th.
We can’t wait to immerse ourselves in Mike D’s garden of
earthly artistic delights!
