It's nice to be liked by someone. It's even nicer when someone likes you SO MUCH that they are willing to rewrite a movie script so you have a role!
That's exactly what happened when Trevor Donovan auditioned for a part in Oliver Stone's upcoming crime thriller, Savages. The director cast him in a role he ultimately cut from the script, but liked the 90210 actor so much he wrote him an entirely new role.
It's even more impressive considering the film is an adaptation of a book, as Donovan explains:
"My character isn't in the book. So there are new scenes that I'm in that weren't in the book. It's kind of crazy."
The seksi actor isn't trying to brag though. He openly admits, "It's a small role." However, that didn't stop him from enjoying the opportunity of working with one of the most famous directors Hollywood ever churned out.
Donavon explained his experience on set by saying, "He's awesome to work with. He's crazy, but in the best way."
Savages stars Taylor Kitsch and Aaron Johnson as two drug dealers who have to rescue their shared girlfriend, Blake Lively, from a Mexican drug cartel.
