Looks like American Idol still reigns supreme on Wednesday nights!
The singing competition brought in the most viewers when the top 6 took the stage with their Queen covers! 16.5 million tuned in, although the show’s 4.6 rating was down two tenths from last week.
There wasn’t really much competition for Idol though…
ABC’s The B—- in Apartment 23, only on its third episode, already dropped 23 percent since last week, as did Revenge — which hit a season low — and was down 13 percent.
NBC’s scripted shows like Off Their Rockers and Law & Order: SVU remained steady this week, averaging 4.8 million viewers as a network.
As for the encore ep of the new CW show, The L.A. Complex? Well, after it premiered Tuesday night as the lowest-rated broadcast drama debut of ALL time (ouch!), its encore brought an additional 100,000 viewers!
Maybe viewers weren’t clear on when it premiered? Okay, okay…we’re just going to go out on a limb here and say it probably won’t be on air for too long.
At least the CW can still count on hit shows like The Vampire Diaries!
