Ellen's Risqué Reading Time: 50 Shades Of Grey!
This is too HIGHlarious for words!!!!
Funny-woman Ellen Degeneres was recently asked to read the Twilight-inspired fanfic erotic novel, Fifty Shades Of Grey for an audio recording…sound effects and all! LOLz!!!!
Check out how the recording sesh went down in the video (above)!!
We can barely contain ourselves…and clearly Ellen was having trouble, too!
This sure sounds like a book club we'd LOVE to join! Ha!

lol ok so I'm def reading this book
While @B&N yesterday my wife picked up the book out of curiosity and read the 1st chapter, said it sucked & picked up replacement copies of the Sleeping Beuaty Trilogy books (The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty/Beauty's Punishment/Beauty's Release) by Anne Rice (writing as A. N. Roquelaure) from the early 1980's.
The book has some serious relationship advice. One of the best of the "how-to-treat-a-lady" genre.
Ellen always makes me laugh!
Why do you say it Twilight inspired? It has nothing to do with that. You ruin it when you relate it to twilight. STOP.
Re: Alien –
Because it WAS Twilight inspired. It was a Twilight fanfic for the past 3-4 years. The author pulled the story, changed the names, and then sold the book back to the fans she had garnered over those years.
Twihards are a rabid bunch, that is why this book started off so well and has caught so much attention. If it wasn't for them, this would just be another erotic novel.
Re: TheIdiotQueen – Re: TheIdiotQueen – Ok, I was wrong. After I read your post I did a little research. You are correct. I like Twilight but this is not young adult reading so I definately didnt see the connection. My apologies.
Ellen really! I just got dry, her girlfriend Portia would have been better. It's not a comedy.
Re: Alien –
Because it is started off as a Twilight fanfiction. Thats why
Oh okay I was laughing so hard when i saw ellen do that. But i am 16 now. When the twilight fanfiction came out i was maybe 14. I read it at 14. Is that a bad thing?
I read it. It's boring for the first 4 chapters until you get to the point of the story, which is sex. Then, you have to deal with the whole virgin thing. The author wrote the book entirely in the 1st person. Which was a put off for me. But some people like that. I've also read the new erotica Pop Baby Krissy Doucet, by Diane Story. I liked it better. More believable, and definitely more respect for women.
