FUN. Brings Sexy Fun Time To David Letterman!

| Filed under: TV NewsMusic MinuteDavid LettermanPerezTV

OH Dave, YOU set the world on fire… with your teatime late night chats and silly jokes!

Last night on the Late Show with David Letterman, those rowdy boys from FUN. played their only song megahit We Are Young and David Letterman got his aging a** up on stage and raged' out!

HAH JK!

But that would have amped this performance up a bagillion times.

Watch David Letterman NOT get in on the action (above).

And even though this song has been so overplayed it's almost unbearable, we still LURVE it!

The word"overplayed" ? Try Kat Graham overplayed by you.

This song sucks, this band sucks, and they will only be one hit wonders. It is only a song pandering to graduations…and graduation season–hence, the popularity, but the song is a terrible graduation song. It is almost as bad as Friday by Rebecca Black, but in some respects, her song is actually better because at least it has melody and structure, although she can't sing, however, these guys are just making noise, all the way around??? If black kids had written and performed either song, BTW, they would have gotten no air-play. When you are black, you have to be 100 times better than the competition, just to receive half or a quarter of the attention that others do. This song is complete and utter trash, and the performance was equally horrible.

BTW, that Kat Graham song sucks also. She has talent, but the song is unworthy, yet in her quest to sound "Beyonce-hood", and accurately so, she has delivered a song that is trash–not that Beyonce has done better with her hood-centric ghetto songs, but, please, bring back melody and good song structure.

PS–Megan Faria, wow, Perez, you need to get that girl signed to a contact fast!!! She's brilliant!!!!! Oh, and her version of Put Your Graffiti On Me, absolutely crushes Kat Graham's version. Megan turned it into a real song with melody and proper song structure.

if you like FUN, go on youtube and search "the format"…its the lead singer's original band and they are amazing. "the first single" "tie the rope" and "tune out" are my favs

Why does one jackass have to bring race/color into something that has NOTHING to do with that subject? This is a post about a band playing a song on Letterman. Where in the post does it mention anything about what race they are? Nowhere. IDK poster #4, I've seen some shitty black acts that have videos or performed on late night TV. It's an equal opportunity untalented musical world out there, IMO….

@If U Don't Like Perez_Why R U Here: I made the statement because it is true. There are a lot of bad acts out there, no doubt, but when a truly terrible band and song like this gets air-play and is turned into a hit, you have to question everything that made it a hit, including race issues–I mean the song hit number 1 on the charts and Entertainment Tonight was talking about it like it was the 2nd Coming of Jesus, but it is not. There are so many great and talented people out there, and yet these guys have a record contract, are on Letterman, and we are asked to cheer this? Enough!!!

His voice is annoying live. I better stick with the recording
