What!?! We weren't expecting this one!!!

Tommy Marth was an incredibly talented saxophone player for The Killers.

We always LOVED that part of their music so much.

But sadly, the musician was found dead in his Las Vegas home Monday morning, with the cause of death reportedly being suicide.

The band shared their grief in the aftermath in a statement, saying:

Last night we lost our friend Thomas Marth. Our prayers are with his family. There’s a light missing in Las Vegas tonight. Travel well, Tommy.

Super sad!

He was only 33 years old!!!

Rest in peace, Tommy… we're sending our thoughts to your friends and family.

If UR considering suicide, PLEASE call this number: 1-800-273-8255!
U R LOVED!!!!

Rest in peace, Tommy…your playing on Sam's Town and Day & Age blew me away, not to mention when I saw you with The Killers live in 2009

Seriously. Do you ever really expect a suicide? "Oh yeah, that guy was totally gonna off himself. I was just waiting for it."

What a poor, poor choice of words.

I agree, it's really not right to say "we weren't expecting this one" i'd really remove that comment, perez. i'm sure you didn't mean it to be cruel, but since when do people "expect" people to kill themselves?? people can be depressed and or have problems with no one knowing about them!!
