Say Anything's New Video May Cause Seizures!

JK, but it is frantically spastic in format!!

Say Anything, the emo-punk band that exposed us to the joys of touching oneself in their HIGHlarious song, Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too, recently released a stop-motion music video for their self titled song, Say Anything.

We never really got the EMO music category - music in any genre can be emotional - but we LOVE us some whiney men singing about pain or love (or both!). And we adore stop motion! AND this music video is supa fun!!

Get in touch with your inner teenage boy (if you aren't already one!) and click play (above).

If you knew any of Say Anything's other songs you would know they are NOT in any way an Emo band. And it's mildly insulting (in my opinion) to categorize them like that. They are an alternative rock band, not all their songs are lovesick and whiny.

Re: Meghan – I was going to post the same exact thing. They are very intelligent and articulate.

try not to "understand" music genres - you sound like a bunch of dumb dumbs to people that do. leave music to the music blogs that 'get it'.

Guys, by now we should all know that anything posted on Perez Hilton is a joke. Perez Hilton called my favorite band (and the "emo" genre) a bunch of "whiney men singing about pain or love". So fucking what?! haha come on, people! It's great to defend (the genre. ooh! poorly placed SA refrence) amazing bands such as Say Anything, but not every little comment needs to be taken so seriously. Even the band themselves have been able to laugh at it (at least that's what it seems like from the way Sisky was tweeting/instagram-ing about it.)

Incredible video to an incredible song by an incredible band. Keep up the good work, Say Anything!
