There's a LOT of freaky middle-aged women people in America!

A ridiculous amount of people showed up to help Fifty Shades of Grey author, E L James, kick off her U.S. book tour in Miami on Sunday.

Literally HUNDREDS of fans came to James' second-ever book signing. Over 500 people waited in a line for hours to do something important see the face and get a signature from the woman who writes the touching story.

After the cray signing, the former Twilight fan fiction writer spoke to a sold out "boisterous, uninhibited" crowd of 700+ house moms fans at at the historic Biltmore Hotel.

As we previously reported, the James' novel recently kicked The Hunger Games out of it's #1 spot on the NY Times "Best Seller" list.

At this rate, Fifty Shades of Grey's sequels will snag the number 2 and 3 spot!!

Think it might be time to bust Edward and Bella out of literary retirement, Stephenie Meyer!

    Like many, I finished the Hunger Games trilogy & suddenly found myself in an irrational panic that I'd never find something to read again that could compare. Alas I saw a new trilogy in the top lists on Amazon & bought the first, Fifty Shades of Grey.

    Ummm…..WTF IS THE HYPE ABOUT???? I'm about 50 percent thru & have been at that "just keep reading…maybe it'll get more interesting" point for quite a while. For those of you who haven't fallen into the trap yet - DON'T DO IT!!

    Okay sure, obviously they are hard pressed for entertainment in FL now that poor Treyvon's murderer has been charged & Casey Anthony is old who cares news.
    That book is crap & the worst writing. Even Jennifer Tilley & Kathleen Turner bagged on it bigtime on WWHL with Andy Cohen.

    I am reading the first book now. Haven't finished it yet, but I like it. I don't like men like Christian Grey, but the story is really tame actually - nothing gory or painful. I love how the relationship between them keeps building in a quirky and flirtatious manner. At the heart of it, it's just a love story - the bondage stuff just seems like an extra stuff on the side.
