Gotye sick

"Sometimes I feel like I'm a bit sick of it. There's only so many times you can listen to the one song. I like the fact that people are still discovering it and I don't feel like it's a noose around my neck. But at the same time, I do wonder how many times you can listen to the same piece of music. I can't think of any song that's ever been picked up like this and I do feel like saying to people sometimes 'Come on guys, there are other songs out there."

- Gotye on his hit, Somebody That I Used To Know

Yeah, it must be so hard getting paid every time your song is played. The people in africa should hold a benefit concert for you.

Like I have said before, this guy is so full of himself that I wouldn't pay for shit from him. (Glee, Lady Gaga) Seems he only likes himself and thinks the rest of the world are horrible POP MUSIC FANS!! What the fuck does he think his music is? If Pop radio didn't play it, he wouldn't have this issue. No one would know who he was. Go the fuck away asshat. Shows over.

Re: Pruneh2o – One day no one will play his mediocre song and he will just be somebody that we used to know (SOMEBODY!)

my classmate's step-aunt makes $64 an hour on the internet. She has been unemployed for five months but last month her pay check was $17676 just working on the internet for a few hours. Go to this web site and read more MakeCash2.com

The more this faux-hipster opens his mouth the more narcissistic, pessimistic, and just genuinely unhappy he sounds.

  6. 6

If he really cared about his song becoming too mainstream he wouldn't have made sure he played for SNL, now would he?

  7. 7

give him a break guys, i think he's still in shock at how massive this song is. I have loved Gotye for years & him having an opinion on his own song isn't going to change that. Check out his album "Like Drawing Blood" Amazing :)

Re: CamposLindsay – Spammers are usually one hit wonders but i have reported you 3 times so hopefully they will kick your butt off this site until you come up with a new handle.

Ungrateful asshole. I am sick of people biting the hands that feed them. People who dont want to be popular or make money need to go work at McDonald's !

Kurt Cobain felt the same way about smells like team spirit.
Not that this song is as good as Nirvana's SLTS but it's a big hit. If anyone is allowed to have an opinion on a piece of music, it's the artist themselves. Come on, he's allowed to feel resentment towards the obviously overwhelming success of ONE song. He has been an artist for a while. A MUSICIAN. Not a fame seeking cow.

I like the song. I haven't tired of it yet. I might never tire of it.
