Alexander Skarsgard Fifty Shades

From Battleships to sex chambers…Alexander Skarsgard wants in on ALL the action!

In a recent interview, the actor admits he hasn’t heard of the erotic novel, Fifty Shades Of Grey yet…but would definitely be interested in taking part in the steamy lead role on the big screen!

Intrigued by character Christian Grey, the True Blood star said:

“He’s got a sex chamber? My character has that on True Blood. He’s got his little dungeon. I was born to play that part.”

Um….yes, please?!?!?

Looks like Alexander might have some competition, though — last week we told you how actor and fellow hottie, Chris Pine, was also eyeing up the role!

Skarsgard is currently gearing up for the return of True Blood’s fifth season on June 10 and the premiere of upcoming flick, Battleship, starring Rihanna!

Alexander may have just been playing around with the idea of going after the role, but he better end up being for realz!

Don't you dare play with our hearts like that, Alex!!!!

    The book was based on Robert Pattinson (won't happen…too smart for that )……. but that who should play him period!!! Bottom line…can't see this movie translating to the bog screen……..NC 17 without a doubt……..major re-write to make it work.

    I love Alexander, but he's not right for the part. Christian is in his late 20's and Alex doesn't looks his age, mid-30's. I really do think they need to cast unknowns for the characters of Christian and Anastasia, because when actors are in popular shows, you end up watching the movie and thinking you're seeing Eric or Damon.

    No! Ian Somerhalder has been the best bet. Ryan Goslin won't happen because he's already a big name in the movie industry and this book is cheese, smutty cheese, but cheese nonetheless. They are going to try and go the Twilight route and pick someone who doesn't already have huge movie star power.

    It just hit me who would be the best for this role and I thought of Josh Duhamel. He's tall, he's hot, he has lovely eyes. He would rock as Christian Grey. Forget all the others. Just go with Josh.

    I had Chris hemsworth in mind when they started talking about turning the book into a movie but when I read other people's responses, Ian Sonerholder TOTALLY fits the part. His eyes says it all!!! Maybe gain more muscle for the part? Otherwise perfect fit!!! I wouldn't watch it if it was another actor,ESP this guy Skarsgard or Pine. Don't want to ruin my idea of Christian Grey!

    Alex Pettyfer !! He looks great with brown hair and I could picture him looking great with the grey smoldering eyes as well. Hes lean and tall like Christian should be AND he seems like he has a bad ass side to him that would come across just right for that part. The could also age him a bit with the formal attire.     THIS IS A TERRIBLE PICTURE OF HIM. If you watch True Blood or Straw Dogs you will know that he would be great for the role. Most of his sex appeal comes from his height and physical presence

    Skarsgard is just the perfect Christian Grey : He is cold and hot, he can play nice and evil, he has a beautiful body and a complicated soul …. Grey is a self made business man far too young in the books (age 27) and the maturity of Skorsgard adds more credibility to the story.
    The books are not that great …. Skarsgard as Grey would give the movie an upgrade. Knowing that he loves Isabelle Hupert playing in The Pianist is the best qualification ever.
    Holywwoooooooood call him NOW !!

    Yum. Alexander would be delicious as Christian. The role needs to be played by a man, not a boy. This movie shouldn't be targeted to girls-therefore, no young heartthrobs should even be considered. Someone suggested Zac Efron? Are you effing with me?!? No way. Kristen Stewart as Ana? Repulsing.     First, That pic of Alex isn't a good one.. Anyone who's seen True Blood knows how gorgeous he is and imo, perfect to play the role of CG.. Can't think of anyone better.
