Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have proven celebrity couples CAN think with their brains sometimes, LOL!!
Though they worked together fine on All My Children, Kelly reveals the same doesn't apply to LIVE!
After Regis Philbin left the show last year, producers have opened a rotating door to guest hosts, but none have been chosen for a permanent seat yet.
Of course, nostalgic AMC fans and giddy hopeless romantics would LOVE to see Kelly and Mark everyday. But that just isn't gonna happen.
She explains in the June 2012 issue of Vanity Fair:
No one would make me happier than Mark, but he values our marriage and he says that he doesn't see how we could stay married and both do that show.
Distance does make the heart grow fonder, LOLz!!
SO! WHO should be Kelly's permanent co-host???

I think they should replace Kelly. I can't stand the sight of her after seeing her kiss Kim K's ass. It made me realize that she is just one big phony. She has played that routine on so many guests and now I see that it was never genuine. Gag me.
Um, They did meet on the same soap, even married and fell in love with each other on and off set

I love Kelly with Josh Groban, Martin Short, Dana Carvey, and shockingly, that football player that was "The Bachelor". . .Jessie. . .something. . .can't remember his name. He was on two days about a week ago and they had great chemistry and he was funny. Mario Lopez has too many jobs. NO ONE is more suited for the job than Martin Short. He's a pro and HILARIOUS!! He's smart, entertaining, has chemistry with Kelly, and I think Kelly needs someone a little older than her; not younger (i.e., Mario Lopez). Two other top choices are Neil Patrick Harris and Anderson Cooper, but they aren't available to do her show (dang!). I'd be satisfied with her continuing the rotation. It's an interesting concept. When Matthew Broderick was her co-host, I wanted to slit my wrists! I love Ferris Bueller, but I don't know if he was tired, or if he's always like that in real life. BORING!!

I stopped watching the show when Regis left. Kelly aways seems to take over everything just to overpowering. Regis was the show he brought a certain stabel effect to the show. I never realy knew why the got rid of him.

I would like see someoone like Sam Champion, Ryan Seacrest, Anderson Cooper, or a New York person who is on the go, and has interesting things to talk about, such as Regis.
He was the best, and really can't be replaced.
They barely mention his name anymore, and it annoys me.

I don't like reading that some people think Kelly is a phony. She is anything but phony.
She is a wonderful Mother to her children, and a great entertainer…………do I smell Jealousy???
