Saturday Night Live Is Planning Another Rihanna Sketch

| Filed under: TV NewsRihannaMusic MinuteSaturday Night Live

Rihanna acting on SNL

Rihanna is set to perform a few of her hits on Saturday Night Live this weekend while Eli Manning hosts, but she might be doing more than just singing!

Since this is her third time on the show, she may be appearing in a few sketches too!

Lorne Michaels has confirmed that the writing staff is trying to write material for her to join in on the funny, as he explained:

"Yes, are hoping so. We'll know [soon]. I wish I could report on everything that's been written [and] if this were tomorrow, I could. I know that there are a lot of things in the works, but I don't frankly know how they turned out. And I think it's our intention."

This isn't much of a shocker considering RiRi has appeared in a HIGHLarious Digital Short with Andy Samberg in the past AND she's making her big screen debut in Battleship this month.

Clearly, this gurl can handle herself on camera, so we're pumped that the SNL crew is giving her another chance to prove it.

Shy Ronnie was great. I hope if they do this Rihanna will find a way to put some expression in her face and not look so blank. The only time I have seen real expression with her is when she is getting down and dirty with strippers.

Eli Manning?? What the hell? What kind of lame ass sketches will be in that episode. Why don't they have movie and music stars that are relevant right now? Mick Jagger?
