You know what they say:
“Once you wear black, you’ll never go back.”
With The Avengers set to Hulk-Smash box office records this weekend, Scarlett Johansson is already waxing poetic about slipping back into Black Widow’s super
hero tight latex outfit.
She spoke about the strong possibility of a prequel where fans would watch Natasha Romanoff evolve into Black Widow:
“I love her origin story. I think it’s just such a riveting one… It’s just steeped in history and the richness to shoot in Russia, perhaps. … I hope that the fans’ voice is loud enough and they want to see a Widow origin story, I know Marvel would be happy to entertain that. We’ve spoken a lot about it.”
Sweet baby Jesus, puh-leeeease let that happen!!
The girl has her own Hollywood star now, there’s nothing she can’t do!
We suspect audiences will be begging for spin-off after Joss Whedon injects them with a healthy dose of Black Widow in Avengers.
ScarJo's role has grown significantly since her character's debut in Iron Man 2. She said:
“[In Avengers] you see a little bit about how Natasha joined and it’s not that she’s fighting for the greater good of humanity. She was almost salvaged by S.H.I.E.L.D. and so she’s loyal to that group, to that agency, but only as sort of paid debt.”
We are fighting for the greater good of humanity when we say this film MUST happen.
We want it! U want it! ScarJo wants it!
Unless she's happier auditioning for the Jumanji reboot?
