Vampire Diaries Sucks In Ratings, Missing Hemorrhages Viewers
Thursday night proved the coffin’s lid hasn’t been completely nailed shut on traditional TV viewing, as most programs either rose above the ratings surface or swam steadily on.
Our beloved Vampire Diaries sucked in a week to week audience increase of 10%, while its sister program The Secret Circle rose a gigantic 20%!
Score for the fantasy genre!!!
Unfortunately, ABC’s drama Missing totally missed the mark, and was down 21% in the demo - the biggest drop of the night.
But, the rest of basic cable pretty much remained even with last week, which is a feat considering the migration to convenient, internet programming solutions!

Get a clue, CW. You rock your series in so many ways, but don't jump on the hiatus bandwagon. These aren't full seasons anymore. It's just a bunch of scattershot bullshit. I've stopped watched many shows and will just wait for the DVDs to come out because I'm suck of studios thinking they need to give their viewers breaks.
