There is a vast difference between 'meh' opera singers and truly OUTSTANDING opera, and this youthful duo epitomize the latter!
For the Britain's Got Talent semi-final round, singers Charlotte and Jonathan SLAY Pavarotti's iconic song Caruso, and it may be one of the best opera performances we've ever encountered!
They are pitch perfect, with a super pure sound… SUCH a far cry from the 'good' opera can be quite easy to fake…

Perez. I think you need listen to some more classical music. there pitch is far from perfect. and her diction and lack of technique is not one of a classically trained singer… check out more classical music

And Perez… You need to listen to more classical music. Their diction and pitch were far from perfect. They have nice tonal quality, but need to work on emoting passion in their performance. Don't get me wrong, it was a good performance… It just wasn't great or "perfect"
Re: Ashley – Yes for amateurs but they are being treated like professionals and they do not have the training. There is a reason opera singers go to school and train with voice teachers and coaches. Plus this is not opera it is a song, it does not come from and opera now maybe if they did a duet from La Boheme, but they probably would not be able to handle that.
check out their first audition , he has since then had some vocal coaching from pavarottis voice coach and has a voice insured for 10million pounds. they have an album out called TOGETHER Jonathan and Charlotte .
