Boooooo! Say it ain't so!!
Brace yourselves, TV fans. Last week
Joey Matt LeBlanc called a Friends reunion unlikely and now the news gets worse! Phoebe Lisa Kudrow was asked about it on Friday and she crushed our hopes even further. She revealed:
"I don't think it will ever happen whether any of us want it to happen or not."
This is terrible!!
The reason? Lisa doesn’t think the original creators could convincingly execute a reunion. She echoed Matt's earlier sentiments:
"I don't think any of us would do it unless [Friends co-creators] David Crane and Marta Kauffman wrote it and I don't know how they could do it."
Maybe a little, admits Lisa, but not in the way you might think.
She said there could be a Friends movie FAR in the future with different actors playing the six besties:
"Like the Brady Bunch [movie] was hilarious because it was a spoof… I can't wait from 10, 20 years from now to see the younger actors [in those roles.] I think that will be really fun."
We’ll take what we can get!!
