Boooooo! Say it ain't so!!
Brace yourselves, TV fans. Last week
Joey Matt LeBlanc called a Friends reunion unlikely and now the news gets worse!
Phoebe Lisa Kudrow was asked about it on Friday and she crushed our hopes even further. She revealed:
"I don't think it will ever happen whether any of us want it to happen or not."
This is terrible!!
The reason? Lisa doesn’t think the original creators could convincingly execute a reunion. She echoed Matt's earlier sentiments:
"I don't think any of us would do it unless [Friends co-creators] David Crane and Marta Kauffman wrote it and I don't know how they could do it."
So besides hoping for more
Monica Courteney Cox and Ross David Schwimmer cameos on Phoebe’s Lisa’s web series Web Therapy, is there ANY hope of getting our Friends’ itch scratched down the line?
Maybe a little, admits Lisa, but not in the way you might think.
She said there could be a Friends movie FAR in the future with different actors playing the six besties:
"Like the Brady Bunch [movie] was hilarious because it was a spoof… I can't wait from 10, 20 years from now to see the younger actors [in those roles.] I think that will be really fun."
We’ll take what we can get!!
