7th Heaven Dad Ends Marriage After 27 Years

After 27 years, Reverend Eric Camden Stephen Collins and wife Faye Grant are filing for divorce.
In a statement, everyone’s eighth favorite TV Dad said:
"My wife and I are moving forward separately in our lives… She has been my dearest friend and a loving mother. I know that we'll go through this process in a way that honors our family."
Keep your head up, Stephen. If we’ve learned any lesson from 7th Heaven, it’s that everything happens for a reason.
You’re still in the tail end of your prime and, like a fancy European cheese, you’ve grown tastier with age.
And how much can dating really have changed in three decades??

WTF is the point when these old ass couples divorce?! After 27 years you might as well just continue to stick with the woman / man who stuck by you for all of these years. Of course - there are exceptions when there is infidelity or violence etc… but most of these are not for these reasons. Do they really think a hot young piece of ass is going to come after them old folks?
