Broadway's How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying Revival Is Coming To An End!

| Filed under: Music MinuteBroadway BabiesDaniel RadcliffeJonas BrothersDarren Criss

After 15 months and three absolutely DEVASTATINGLY handsome leads, the Broadway revival of How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying will come to a close on May 20th

The production managed to recoup its $9 million in capitalization costs with the help of the first lead Daniel Radcliffe, who stayed with the show from February of 2011 through December, and even managed to elevate the weekly ticket sales to above $1 million throughout the summer months.

During Darren Criss's subsequent three-week stint in January, the show still pulled in big bucks, but once Nick Jonas took over the role in February, sales slowly dropped - including the week of May 6th, which brought in $367,605 with an audience capacity around 43 percent!

But hey! It will have played 473 performances by the last curtain call later this month, and we think that's a pretty impressive run! And we saw Nick in the show not too long ago. He was sensational! Sometimes, show's just lose their sssssssteam (heat)!

We think everyone involved should be very proud of what they accomplished!

Now keep on breaking those legs for the last hurrah, you guys!

And maybe this means a more permanent position for Nick on SMASH next season??? We're sure he's got something major up his sleeves for his next move!

Of course it is closing……that queer Jonas Brother took over the lead, and ticket sales dropped off considerably ! And, true - WHERE is the gossip re that Hag Wintour banning that Fat-Assed Katrashian WHORE from her big event ? Love it ! Just shows you, SOME people have taste !

Who the heck can afford prices for plays these days with the shape of the economy? I can barely afford to watch a movie at the discount theaters once every couple of months (and I used to go once of twice a week).

No surprise there. Nick Jonas is a no talent ass clown.

I went to see Nick Jonas, he was totally amazing and you're comment is irrelevant.

@hoochpit.I know you are not talking about my lover,Dan Rad.because if you're talking about Nick and Darren, then I agree that they are gay.but don't call Dan a gayface.and I also agree with @Be-Atch.Nick Jonas ruined the show.and Dan and Darren made the show their own.but Nick?no.the way he was performing,it felt more like a concert show, than a broadway musical.

Finally … it has closed. Thank god. Now all those weirdos can stop camping out on 45th street for an autograph from some smug little shit.

Re: Lil.Hottie10 – I just asked if you saw it. If you did see it and disliked his performance, that's fine. But why would you assume he was bad if you haven't seen him in the role? Especially when, people who have seen him are saying he's great.
