Beth Ditto And Her Girlfriend Are Gett'n Hitched!
President Obama is making a change in Beth Ditto's life!
The day after the POTUS announced his support of gay marriage, the The Gossip’s frontwoman reveled plans to marry her long time lady, Kristen Ogata.
"I'm getting married next year to my partner Kristen in June. She might be somewhere here, in the hotel, walking around. I'm doing it in Hawaii because my girlfriend is from there."
Bethy is not the least bit afraid of the life time commitment. She admits:
"I was born to be married. I love the idea of being partnered forever. There's not a thing we haven't been through except for marriage."

I'm sure her decision was based soley on what the president said yesterday. No where in the comment did she say "ya know, just because the president says it's okay, I'm going to get married".

You do realize that just because Obama says he supports it now (((just to get votes))) doesnt mean they can get marriend anywhere they want….its still banned in 30 or so states
The right is acting like POTUS is single handedly destroying western civilization and the left is acting like POTUS issued a royal decree granting everyone universal marriage rights. All he did was express his personal opinion and then skirted any comittment to change the law by legally supporting state by state rights. Everybody chill

Hawaii has civil unions and legally she and her yuckly girlfriend are free to call their relationship whatever they like, but you are correct. It is not an executive order, it is his opinion and people are acting like Jesus wept tears and annointed the gays with it.

I love her music. I first heard it on Skins U.K. I think it was the dvd. The song was Standing in the Way of Control. Then I got into her again When Perez posted the Pop goes the Word video. She has a unique voice. Congrats to her.
