Lady Serial Killer? FX Announces Scandalous New Drama!

Move over Real Housewives of everywhere! A real bad b*tch is coming to cable!
FX is currently developing a drama series about a serial killer that is also a… woman! (GASP!)
We know, the idea of women doing ANYTHING other than bickering and cooking is kind of hard to imagine! How could executives come up with something like this?? Oh wait … because it's an AWESOME idea. You all know you love the lady villains WAY more than the dirty dealin' dudes!
Apparently, the show is based off Chelsea Cain’s best-selling book series Heartsick, Sweetheart and Evil At Heart.
The story of the books, and future show, revolves around a seksi Mz Murderer, who is in a complicated relationship with a police detective.
Like NBC's semi-scary series, Grimm, this deadly show takes place in Portland. That's the opposite side of the country from Miami where Dexter, the other serial killing protagonist lives.
Coincidence? We think not!

What would you know about women? You are a pathetic, ignorant piece of shit Perez.
"We know, the idea of women doing ANYTHING other than bickering and cooking is kind of hard to imagine!"
Is he serious?!
Re: vegas22 – I think he's saying that there is not enough variety when it comes to female characters on tv. I wouldn't know though since I don't watch much tv.
how's she going to kill them from her kitchen? that's the real question.
Chelsea Cains books are dark and a brilliant read and in reply to laura no she does not kill them in the kitchen she's more original than that!
I thought we had moved past the stupid drawings on pictures. Don't you want to be taken seriously?
I heard Mikko Alanne is the writer on this. He's amazing; I bet it will be a great show. I'm excited to see this!
I love this series of books and can't wait to see what FX does with it!
Re: Wiffle – Totally agree with "dark and brilliant read."
