We were looking forward to seeing Sacha Baron Cohen take on a serious role in Quentin Tarantino's latest flim, but his press commitments for The Dictator created scheduling conflicts.
Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx and Christoph Waltz have been filming the epic western for months, but Cohen was not able to make his planned cameo appearance.
Total bummer, but his role is reportedly easily replaceable or perhaps unnecessary all together.
Even worse for the production is the news that Kurt Russell dropped out. No word on why the Escape From New York actor quit, but his role seemed like it was much more significant than Cohen's cameo. The film's synopsis names him as Ace Woody, the trainer who grooms slaves to battle each other for sport.
Who wouldn't want to be in a Tarantino movie? Russell's reasons must be pret-ty good for him to drop out of this high profile project.
What actor do U think should replace him?
