President Obama Came Out Of His Marriage Equality Closet Because Of Joe Biden!

Well, Thank you, Mr. Veep!

It seems that President Obama’s historic pro-marriage equality announcement Wednesday came a tad prematurely (HAH!) due to Joe Biden’s recent pro-gay marriage remarks on Meet The Press.

The Pres. stated on Good Morning America Thursday:

"I had already made a decision that we were going to probably take this position before the election and before the convention. [Joe Biden] probably got out a little bit over his skis, but out of generosity of spirit. I would have preferred to have done this in my own way, on my own terms… all's well that ends well."

We are obviously BEYOND beaming after hearing the Pres’ position on marriage equality…

But it’s not just about giving gay and lesbian couples the same rights as straight couples, this is about the much LARGER issue of seeing each other as fellow human beings!

While we are all individuals who have vastly different tastes and preferences, we are all still members of the human race and the ONLY way to maintain peace and progress is via global, mutual respect…

Spread the love and nurture the beauty that humans can create, together!

Excuse me…..being in favor of traditional marriage in no way means that you don't see the gay community as "fellow human beings". Ridiculous statement and typical demonizing. Maybe those who support traditional marriage have a different beliefs that should be equally respected. The gay community wants only their way, their beliefs….and hate and name call those who don't support them. Not very tolerant at all.

    Bull Shit
It was a well thought out plan, so that when Obama went out to Hollywood, he would be met with open arms
Did anyone else find it just too odd that the day after his support for gay marriage, that the Washington Post has a story calling Romney a Gay Basher ?
That story in the Washington Post like many others they have run, is now proving to have lots of holes in it
    SURPRISE

Re: truthgal – Marriage equality does not affect traditional marriage. Traditional marriage is not threatened by gays getting married.

Re: rosebud99 – To some it does….those with religious beliefs that believe marriage is defined between man and woman. Gay marriage does change the definition of marriage. I understand both sides of the argument. All I'm saying is I wish the name calling and demonizing would stop, mutual respect for both sides shown, and a discussion on the issues both sides believe in be started. Demonizing, while effective to divide and conquer, never bridges any gap and just angers people.

I would expect nothing less from this moron of a president! Thank GOD he'll soon just be bad history! VERY BAD HISTORY! Worst president ever!!!

That picture says it all!! He's screwing Biden LOL!

Re: truthgal – That is why there should be separation of church and state. Religious beliefs should be contained within the bounds of the congregation, and should not be forced upon those outside of the congregation. I totally agree with you that the name calling and demonizing should stop - it just caused hatred and intolerance to spread.

Re: rosebud99 – I'm glad we agree that name calling and demonizing should stop. Sadly, I don't think it will. As for the rest, separation of church and state means gov't cannot dictate which religion to follow. This country was founded upon religious foundations as evidenced by the historical writings, buildings and our money. As for who is forcing which beliefs on who, that cuts both ways. Again, sensitive topic and one that should be treated with respect. I hope we can get to that….

Yup, thanks Veep, you fucking moron. You just helped a republican get elected this comming november, which will make all the homo's cry. Good job retard.

NO. He waited until AFTER the voting took place in NC to "support gay marriage" so he wouldn't lose any more votes there. So now those of us who voted against Amendment One, will now vote for him because we are angry that it got passed. Bull shit. I support gay marriage, but not Obama for President. Vote Ron Paul!! (who btw think the govt doesn't even need to be involved in our personal lives) He is a MUCH better choice than Obama or Romney.

It's only for the Votes… That's all… It should have been supported years ago..

That depends on whether you believe the news sites that are slamming Obama for it. It would have been well thought out and calculated — Biden goes first, forces Obama's card, makes Obama look better to the conversatives, blah blah blah. Are you not educated enough Perez to see the difference or do you just believe anything you seen on Fox News?

Re: pumpmyhump – You are such a moron ! Bush put the US of A in a war that was illegal, based on lies. He screwed the economy singlehandedly.

  14. 14

Re: overthere – Your an idiot. Quit with the vietnam bullshit speak. It was not an illegal war, it was a stupid one, but not illegal. Back it up, tell us how it was illegal. You can't, because youre just another liberal retard with no real arguement to back your bullshit stance. Also, singlehandedly huh, ahve you ever heard of the "Standard Economic Cycle", read a fucking book for god sakes.

  15. 15

No. This was carefully planned by the Obama administration. "Conveniently" the Washington Post came out with a 13 page article about how Romney beat up a gay guy like 47 years ago. This was completely planned to make Obama/Biden Look good and Romney to look bad. This is an election year an they will both say or do anything to win. Its all bullshit and lies.

  16. 16

When behind the curtain to vote, MOST people are going to vote NO to this while no one is looking!!! PERIOD!!
The people voted and have spoken out against this!! Now! Lets get back to the ECONOMY!!!
More government spending! Would you know how many lawyers fight over these laws Obuma has been pushing threw???
Obuma fights, Gizmo, Healthcare, DADT, budget, tax on the rich, ETC,ETC. The only one making money is the lawyers! ALL these are held up in courts for months years! Nothing is getting done here!! Get it!!!!

  17. 17

Seriously? And it had nothing to do with the 15 million dollar campaign dinner at George Clooney's house the next day? The Hollywood Gay Marriage crowd wouldn't have it any other way….WAKE UP AMERICA!

  18. 18

Why do you usually have the comments off on any stories about Kiris Humpries?

Oh and no I will not vote for Obama.

  19. 19

Or, you know, it was to potentially gain votes .Which is quite a risk to take, Mr. President, considering overall states' lack of gay marriage laws.

Re: truthgal – You are one hundred percent right. I agree with everything you have said so far on this page. Very well said.
