With Johnny Depp entering the coffin club in Dark Shadows, the Robert Pattinson comparisons are ENDLESS!!

So when he was promoting the film at the London premiere, he finally broke down and joked:

There’s room for two vampires on this block — as long as he remembers I am the Alpha Vampire.

LOL!! Watch out, Johnny… those Twi-Hards are FIERCELY loyal!!

We'd personally like to see them suck it out for the title, buttt… that's just us! ;)

    most of Twihards adore Johnny but not me, sorry, guys. every time i see Depp on screen all i can think of is "the king is naked", he is wooden actor and ridiculously overrated Diva. imagine De Niro saying "as long as Al Pachino remembers i am the Alfa mafiosi" or vice versa. i am not surprised JD said that so we know he is not that smart. alfa-vampires don't have ears of Tinker Bell ;)

    i cant recall seeing johnny as a vampire before tourist was a flop but watchable gilbert grape is my fav johnny movie just the look on his face when hes got the cake and his boss sees him oh my god i still laugh at that lolol priceless…what is robert stuc doing vampire movies from now on

    O get over it! J.D was probably joking but even if he wasn't, his vampire can't hold a candle to RP's- even though he sparkles! So RP def has the last laugh. Even with his not overly pretty face millions of fans still swoon over him, so again who has the last laugh??? Right. I thought so. Keep hating…..

    Johnny Depp is a good character actor and attractive man, but his character in Dark Shadows will never upstage or outshine the dream making, scene stealing, gorgeous chiseled face, vampire that is Edward Cullen. There was NOTHING unmanly about Edward Cullen and if you ask women, deep inside, they want a boyfriend or husband that has some of the traits that Edward Cullen has (minus the vampire part) and that's the reason for the large appeal of the Twilight franchise even among us 35 year olds. Dark Shadows will never speak to a womans heart like Twilight did. Sorry Johnny but you are not top dog this time.

    How tacky and unprofessional it was of a much older seasoned actor like Depp to take pop shots at a younger and more handsome actor, out of his own insecurity, really there is no point in trying to compete. That would be like Julia Roberts trying to compete with Angelina Jolie, know when your licked. Johnny…stick to pirates and chocolate factories and let the incomparable Robert Pattinson be the sexy vampire scorched in the hearts and minds of thousands of females of all ages worldwide.
