Bret Michaels Settles Lawsuit Stemming From Near-Fatal Accident!
Finally!
Remember back at the 2009 Tony Awards, when part of the set collapsed on Bret Michaels head???
You know, the accident that was the cause of a near-fatal brain hemorrhage months after the incident?
Well, reportedly, Bret has FINALLY settled the lawsuit — which he filed in 2011 — now, three years after the event!
The lawsuit, which named CBS and the Tonys as defendants, stated that Bret was never made aware that he would be in the way of "potential hazards" and was only told to exit to the rear of the stage.
Reports say:
"Representatives for CBS and the Tonys released a joint statement saying that 'an amicable resolution' had been reached.”
Currently, details for the settlement are confidential, with no further information being released.
We are sure Bret is happy to get that out of the way and is ready to move on!
We're also glad he recovered from what could have been potentially fatal!!!
