Ne-Yo is burning up about the bad rap he's getting (sorry, we had to!!)
The recording artist was tracked down at LAX and asked to comment on accusations that he stole the title of his upcoming album R.E.D. from one of The Game’s recent albums of the same name.
Ne-Yo denied any wrongdoing, saying:
"Until The Game comes up to me and says he has a problem with it, I don't care what people think."
His version is an acronym for Realizing Every Dream.
Besides, he added, hip-hop artists always borrow from the same spokes on the color wheel:
"Jay-Z did The Blueprint and so did KRS-One."
For what it’s worth, The Game never lost his cool over the
strikingly similar absolutely identical title. He commented last month:
"I’ve always known Ne-Yo to be a cool dude, so I’m pretty sure he got his reasoning."
We really don’t care what Ne-Yo wants to call his new album — as long as it lives up to all the hype!
