Tom Cruise Graces Playboy, Spills On Scientology And Katie Holmes
We are now exactly one month away from the Rock Of Ages film premiere and the flick’s star, Tom Cruise, is revealing more than just his bare abs!
The actor, who turns 50 (yes, FIFTY) in July, recently got quizzed by Playboy magazine for their June issue — and no topic was off limits!
While living life in the public eye and being subject to criticism, Cruise says he doesn’t think refuting rumors helps anything. Don't get him wrong, though — when he sues, he means it…ESPECIALLY if it involves his kids!
“There comes a point when you just have to go, 'You know what? Here's how I've lived my life: I've never been late to a set. I make films I believe in. I feel privileged to be able to do what I love.' You just have to keep going and remember that."
Cruise went on to say that although he reads the gossip, he doesn’t think life is meant for trying to “prove anything to anybody.”
As for his views on religion? The scientologist said:
"I have respect for what other people believe. What I believe in my own life is that it's a search for how I can do things better, whether it's being a better man or a better father or finding ways for myself to improve. Individuals have to decide what is true and real for them. I'm fortunate in the life I have."
The Rock Of Ages star also revealed that he hasn’t and would never go under the knife and that he believes his wife, Katie Holmes, is “an extraordinary person” who does everything with “beautiful creativity.”
Tom gushed some more about Katie, saying:
"[Katie is] funny and charming, and when she walks into the room, I just feel better. I'm a romantic. I like doing things like creating romantic dinners, and she enjoys that. I don't know what to say – I'm just happy, and I have been since the moment I met her. What we have is very special."
Well isn't that SUPER sweet!
Keep doing whatever makes you happy, Tom!
We cannot wait to see Rock Of Ages when it premieres in theaters on June 15!!!

it is almost impossible to believe that this guy is 50, I know they can do wonders with plastic surgery, etc, but when you see him, looks like he has not been touched

Tom is so handsome. I am so jealous he is with Katie.. it's so unfair! But, I like that he is happy with her though- She is beautiful and their kid is the epitome of beautiful as well.. I think that his religion is GREAT, because he keeps those positive thoughts in his mind, and that is what has made him so succsessful over time with his carreer. I hope one day I can meet him! But at the same time, I would be a little frightened to meet him, considering I would fall in love (I already am in love with him)
