VMAs Move Across Street To The Staples Center

The MTV Video Music Awards will be handed out in a new venue this year — Staples Center in Downtown El Lay on September 9.
After spending the past two years at the Nokia Theater, apparently MTV decided it was time for an upgrade.
Thankfully, the moving vans don’t have to transport those gigantic stage pieces rock-star egos all that far, as Staples Center is literally just across the street.
After the record breaking attention last year's award show received, it makes sense MTV wants a location able to house almost three times as many guests.
We don’t much care where they hold it, just so long as they guarantee us more cross-dressers and baby bump announcements!!
