Rebekah Brooks, the former News International CEO, has been charged in the News of the World phone hacking scandal.
While her hubby Charlie and four others have been charged, she is facing the most trouble with three charges of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice!
The maximum penalty is life behind bars, but the average term lasts about 10 months.
Obviously, she and her hubby are not happy about it. They told sources in an official statement that they "deplore this weak and unjust decision after the further unprecedented posturing of the Crown Prosecution Service."
