Hmm. Isn't there already a modern-day version of Sherlock Holmes called Sherlock set in London? UM Yeah…

But a Sherlock Holmes set in current NYC? SO original! HAH!

Regardless of it's repetitive nature, CBS' new fall show Elementary, starring Jonny Lee Miller (Sherlock Holmes) and Lucy Liu (Dr. Watson) is certainly peaking out interest.

Get a juicy behind-the-scenes look and follow the eccentric Holmes and straight laced Ms. Watson as they solve crimes throughout NYC (above)!

We hope it's not too similar to it's British cousin!

Ok, I LOOOVE the british version and i have to admit i was less than excited to hear they were going to fix something that clearly was not broken. But……..this is looking dare I say pretty cool? I guess we'll see.

I don't know. This is kind of dumb to me. Dr. Watson (whether male or female) would never turn away from a dead body. Lucy Liu would never turn away, for that matter. I'm not satisfied.

Terrible American versions of classic British shows: Red Dwarf, Coupling, The IT Crowd. Jonny Lee Miller is brilliant; but one bright light in a crowd of bad acting does not a masterpiece make.

As long as it doesn't mess with anything that British Sherlock has set up for themselves I don't really give a shit. We all know that we take good Brit shows and try and do them better and always fail.

It's called the Mentalist here in America, but the guy is in California the whole time.
But wtv.. in one season or so this abomination will get cancelled.
