To be fair Pauly, you DID ask the world what they thought of your vid!
Well, fellow DJ Deadmau5 DID comment, and he did NOT care for the vid at all!
This instigated a silly - but mostly friendly - back and forth (including some ‘financial planner’ named Tom Chiang), which then resulted in Deadmau5 seemingly to getting preeettttyyy heated.
DJ Pauly D: So how do you like the video? http://youtu.be/_0JErGktWvA Make sure to grab the song on iTunes… http://fb.me/15SKt3MbX
Deadmau5: @DJPaulyD well since you asked, i didn't really enjoy it. it looked like it cost about $150 to make, and nothing really creative about it.
Deadmau5: @DJPaulyD yer "overmarketing" the hell out of it. just being honest. your fans aren't idiots. engage them, and the music will do the selling
TomChaing: @deadmau5 @DJPaulyD #FightingWords .. yet i respect you both for what you do!
Deadmau5: @TomChiang @DJPaulyD aint no fight, just some advice. take it or leave it.
TomChaing: @deadmau5 @DJPaulyD it's definitely coming from the best!.. your music speak volume much like you do in expressing yourself! #Respect
DJ PaulyD: T-Shirt $40 Jeans $120 Hair Gel $12 Being Hated On By Deadmau5 #Priceless
Deadmau5: @DJPaulyD hating? the fuck? you clearly don't know me enough if you thought that was "hating". was just some friendly-ish advice.
Deadmau5: i'll just leave it at: “Don't blame your failure on haters. If everyone thinks you suck, they're not haters, they're right.” - Daniel Tosh
Deadmau5: well, now that Jersey (and quite possibly the rest of the eastern seaboard) 'came at me bro' i guess its time for bed soon…
