Donald Glover Joins Season 2 Of Girls?!

Donald Glover Girls

If Donald Glover is great at one thing, it's branching out. Otherwise, he's INCREDIBLE at everything else!

It's looking like Donald is joining the second season of the HBO show Girls!

We don't know if he'll be a series regular or what, but what we do know is that we love him, and he was spotted on set!

The first season of Girls was met with critical success, but one of the major flaws that people saw in it was the lack of diversity — so we're sure people are going to think that's why Donald was brought on.

We disagree — we think Donald's being brought on because he's a brilliant comedian and has a ridiculous amount of talent to offer the show. In fact, we wish he was in more things!

We wonder if Childish Gambino will helping out with the soundtrack for season two as well…

Re: NookiesWA – Yes, the show is about twats and made for twats and made by twats, but what is really killing America is the ridiculous amount of political correct bullying Dunham just caved in to. There is no reason why a white woman should not be allowed to make a bad show about white women for white women who are equally as false and boring. No one seemed to mind with sex and the city did they? of will and grace? or every other tv show on televsion. THIS show needs to be attacked for racial disparity. THAT is what is killing America. It's as bad as the token gay charater every sitcom is obligated to have now. I dont know whats more offensive. Not having gays on tv, or having thet ype of gays they do have on tv.

Um, they have only aired 4 episodes. If they are shooting this now, it probably isn't for season 2, but the end of season 1!

Re: retrofine – I totally agree! Let's not kid ourselves why Donald is actually on this show (that's if this is more than a guest role). I'm black and don't care for the show but I respect what it does for women like Ms. Dunham. Now it's not BECAUSE I'm black that I don't care for it. It's mainly because I was a Sex and the City fan and I'm sorry I don't need the same stories about life in the city to be told by mostly ugly girls (hater much? Maybe! but hey it doesn't mean that this isn't Sex and the City meets The Wonder Years!)

I also don't need a parade of ethnic sensitive characters to make me see it's "genius" that I'm so called missing. No matter how real of situations they're in or believable is nothing to me but that doesn't mean I have to say "My voice isn't in this show so I'm not gonna watch it." C'mon!

Mad respect points taken from Dunham for giving in. Girl you got your show that has people watching (again, not me but I know people)! Who cares what people think. Of course I'm included in that but this topic is kinda sore for me (can you tell) lol
