Honda UNI-CUB: Like Walking, But Easier!!

| Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & TrueSilly!

File this one under absurd awesome!!

For all of you out there bummed by the impracticality of trying to commute from the kitchen to the bedroom on your Segway, we’d like to introduce you to the Honda UNI-CUB (video above)!

Finally fit for public consumption, the UNI-CUB is an indoor vehicle revolutionizing personal mobility essentially a lawnmower engine bolted to a rolling office chair!

Wowee zowee, get us two!!

This sweet ride tops out at 3.5 mph and has the longevity of an obese man on a stair-climber, dying after about an hour.

And U probably thought Honda’s engineers were off designing cheaper and more efficient Accords or something lame like that!!

DId anyone else think of the movie Wall-E while watching this?

Seriously, what's the point? To make people fatter? I can see maybe using for disabled people, but there's not enough support fo them to sit on these.

All I could think about was Wall-E! lol Being disabled myself, I'm not in a wheelchair yet, but isn't that what motorized wheelchairs already do? When I do eventually have to use a wheelchair, I don't think this would work very well, there's no support and you still have to use your body to use it like a segway, you're just sitting down. I remember when they said the segway would revolutionize transportation, but I only see them at touristy spots and mall cops using them. Even with my disability, I could still out run a mall cop using a uni-cub at 3.5 MPH! I'm not impressed Honda! I'd be more impressed if you designed a car that ran on bull sh*t!

Is it just me or do they look like they're taking a shit on wheels?
