great singer!

That was a terrible performance, as her pitch was often off–she is not a great singer, despite Stevie's many false urgings. Stevie Wonder, who was pitchy also, BTW, seemed too far gone repeatedly hitting on her, to care in the first-place???
Shame on the American Billboard Awards for cutting short Donna Summer’s tribute and not even mention so many other outstanding artists who had passed so unrepentantly in 2012. Homage should have been paid to the following artists for their outstanding work which include; Soul Train Host Don Cornelius, American Bandstand Host Dick Clark, Monkees Singer Davy Jones, Jazz Singer Etta James, R&B Singer Chuck Brown and Jazz Saxophonist E. Jason Wambsgans.
If I can mention these exceptional artists in such a short note then there should be no reason why the Billboard Awards couldn’t have done there research and mentioned the same names. Once again, shame on them, hopefully heads will roll. If not, this show has definitely loss some viewers in years to come. Talk about offensive and insulting. UNBELIEVABLE!
Like Stevie said, Alicia was incredible! Anyone who thought different must have a hearing problem or not be able to appreciate real music-as opposed to lip syncing. On another note, Alicia's dress was breathtaking and the earrings were definitely an eye catcher. She looked beautiful. It wouldn't matter what she would have worn or how she would have sounded, there would always be hate from some people. Unfortunately that's what they thrive on.
