The Avengers Action Figures Are Insanely Realistic!

The Avengers action figures

Yes! Those are action figures, not the actual cast of The Avengers!

A company called Hot Toys has produced the most realistic toys ever with their most recent line of figurines from the Marvel movie.

We're sure any fan would be thrilled to have one of these bad boys for their collection, but they won't be thrilled by the price.

The Thor figurine, for example, costs $200! His brother Loki, a model which hasn't been released yet, will cost about $10 more too!

Considering the film has already made a billion dollars at the box office, we have a feeling people won't mind dropping a couple Benjamins on these collectibles. Those who can't afford to make the purchase are in luck though!

The company is holding a contest in which a winner will receive an Avengers prize pack! Click here for details and check out more pics of the very incredibly detailed figurines (below)!

let's see if they can keep to the "reality" motiff while aiming for profits when they create the black widow figurine. If her plastic bust size is anything less than tripple E's I will be very suprised.

Wonderful job by the artists. But these don't leave much to the imagination, do they?

I'd like the Loki one, please!

Lots of big franchises like this (LOTR, true blood, star wars) release models/statues/super-detailed toys, 200 bucks sounds about normal. But there aint no waaay the mass produced models will reflect the prototype advertisement models, hand painted by some artisan down to the last freckle and pore.

Oh wow, that's so cool. I wish I could get them all. Is that Jerad Lato with the horns?
