Obama And Romney Are TIED In New Poll About Fixing The Economy

Mitt Romney and Barack Obama tied in opinion poll

Americans are frustrated that Barack Obama has yet to make major improvements to our weak economy, but the country isn't convinced that Mitt Romney will be able to do any better.

A new poll has determined that the two presidential candidates are TIED with voters on the issue. Each has 47% of the country believing they can fix the economy, but Obama is leading the overall vote with 49% compared to Romney's 46%.

Very close race!

Although more people polled think the economy has gotten worse since Obama took office, 48% of people think Obama better understands their economic problems, compared to the 40% who think Romney does.

When asked which candidate is more likely to stand up for what they believe in, Obama crushed Romney with 51% to 38%.

He wasn't afraid to admit his position on same-sex marriage had "evolved," so it's understandable why Romney can't beat his opponent in that category.

Who do U think is the best bet for our economy?

    OBAMA 2012!

Neither one of them will be able to make real changes because of the way Congress works. All progress stops at Congress.

If it's this close already, Obama is toast. His record of 39 consecutive months of 8% unemployment is a new US record and illustrates he is not the right man for the job. He attacks Romney's work at Bain, but he himself is in essence a VC as the government, he just misspends tax payer dollars. Republics will win the election. On Day 1 of Romney's presidency, he'll agree to the creation of the Keystone pipeline and create thousands of jobs right off the bat, something that Obama failed to realize. Romney 2012

If Mitt Romney wins the presidency, he will be the first president since, Dwight Eisenhower, to have had a successful pre-presidential career, in which he excelled at
something besides political hackery, the almost universally chosen career of our
    forty-plus previous presidents.
    -
It couldn't have been easy for General Eisenhower to lead a successful invasion of Europe, but it also couldn't have been easy for Mitt Romney to lead a successful financial institution over the past decade, since so many of his fellow bankers have made complete messes of their own attempts to do so.
    -
The more voters know that Mitt Romney understands how to deal with financial matters, better than Jon Corzine or Bernake or Geithner, who have failed so miserably, the more they will want him in the White House.
    -
Mitt Romney was my last choice in the Republican field, but have come to the conclusion he is what this country needs right now…a totally organized job creator in business turnarounds.

People are starting to understand that the US is in a sense a poorly run company right now with Obama at the helm. He's a smart guy, but has zero business background and is clearly not business minded at all. There is no presidential candidate in history who is more qualified and more suited for the current economic situation than Romney. The country (company) needs restructuring, with his background, he should crush Obama. Another 4 years with Obama means four more years of people out of work, losing their homes, and an increased deficit.

Whoever ends up occupying the oval office, come January, needs to put an emphasis on personal responsibility. A large reason why our economy is so horrid right now, is because there are so many entitled jerks out there who aren't willing to work & pay for what they want. "I deserve a house with a three car garage and a sauna", "I deserve to get a new car every year", "I deserve this… I deserve that…". Yet when the time comes to pay up for those entitlements, they expect someone else to pay for it, and that someone else is us.

Well, at first I was really worried when I read this headline as I DO NOT want NOBAMA in the whitehouse again….ever. But then I remebered that all the media does is tell lies, lies and more lies to make NOBAMA seem like he can do no wrong (in their eyes)…..so, I am relieved because in reality Mr. Romney must be waaaay ahead in the polls…but, of course, they wouldn't want to admit that to anyone…..you know….tell the truth about anything!!!! Goooooo Romney………

What a contrast in candidates in Romney and Obama. It's Harvard Business versus Harvard Law, reviving one of our nation’s most fundamental political debates: Do the super-rich have all the answers to directly manage our nation’s problems (Romney)? Or are they better served hiring someone else to manage those problems for them (Obama)? Of course, if Romney were a committed "job creator," he'd favor outsourcing. Ron Paul 2012 (ronpaul2012.com)

He hasn't dropped out yet; don't let the media fool you! He is worth believing in!

When the Democratic and Republican party attack the same candidate; you KNOW you've found your guy!!!!

Obama said that Romney's experience mattered. Does his own experience of community organizer (or the lack of experience) leading up his doing nothing to the economy matter?

listen your choices between obama and mittens there is Morgan Chase or Morgan Chase that is both parties number 1 source of money is coming from. So instead why not go for Ron Paul despite what most american's believe he is still in the race and he hasn't used any dirty money. It's unfortunate that the media has blacked him out but hey if they don't then someone who can actually fix the corrupt government is going to win and fix the corrupt government. Go and look up Ron Paul before you make your choices because he's not leaving yet and he's getting funding by the people.
