Srsly people, watch where you're goin!!
This is Spinal Tap star Michael McKean was walking along the Upper West Side of Manhattan Tuesday when a car hit him… HARD!!
If you don't know him from the classic cult film, you probably know him as Lenny from Laverne and Shirley. The people who hit him, however, know him as one of the biggest driving lessons of their life!
The 64-year-old actor was found bleeding from his head after the incident occurred on W. 86th St. and Broadway right before 3pm. As soon as the ambulance arrived, they loaded him up and went to St. Luke's Hospital where his critical condition was upgraded to stable. Phew!!
He’ll be okay, hopefully he’ll be fine. It’s pretty devastating. It’s the first time he will have ever missed a curtain in his entire life. He’s never missed stage, screens in film or television. His understudy has never gone on in 40-plus years.
Michael's wife, Annette O'Toole, flew in from El Lay immediately. Awww..
Good to know he's gonna be all right!! We love big cities but this is definitely a con of 'em!!
