Whitney Houston Takes Us To Church In Sparkle!

| Filed under: Music MinuteFilm FlickersR.I.P.Whitney HoustonSad Sad

Earlier this week, we gave you the first of two songs the late Whitney Houston recorded for her upcoming movie, Sparkle.

Now, we have the second one — gospel hymn His Eye Is On The Sparrow — and you might just want to have some tissues handy before pressing play…

Take a listen to one of Whitney's last songs recorded (above).

Wow. Utterly chill-inducing!!!

We still can't believe we lost such an incredible voice just months ago. This track is proof that Whitney's voice really WAS still up to par, contrary to what some might have been led to believe.

Sparkle hits theaters August 17 and we can only imagine that the whole audience will be brought to tears once this song plays!

Whitney will forever live on through her music and legendary voice.

um it not that great. of course it is special as it's her last recording ,but her voice is strained,we now know why. Such a beautiful and talented woman too bad it went down the way it did. Hope others learn but I doubt it.

Horrible and tired song, shame on her.

the irony of it all is that Whitney at 1/2 vocal ability of what she was at her prime still has more vocal talent than everyone that is currently on the Billboard Hot-100 aside from Adele and Kelly Clarkson

For me, When I first saw Whitney's back in the 80's I was completely and utterly taken with her not only by her songs by her " BEAUTY, ELEGANT and STYLE OF GRACE". Shes' was one Beautiful Black Woman. After 30 plus years in the Music Industry I remain a Whitney Houston fan forever. Inspite of all the Negative Publicity that the Media was barraging Whitney with, my love for Whitney never falter. So what I'm basically saying is this I love her rendition of My Eyes is on the Sparrow. That was my mom favorite as well.

Amazing song. I think its beautiful not to mention her song "Celebrate" with Jordin Sparks is pretty awesome and very catchy. Check it out on youtube when you can. Its definitely one you can dance to.
