Nicole Kidman plays a sultry "trailer-trash vixen" in The Paperboy — the Cannes competition film about a journalist (Matthew McConaughey) as he investigates a death-row man's case with little brother (Zac Efron) in tow.
The Lee Daniels film, which falls under the Southern melodrama Netflix genre category, also focuses in on the lover of the imprisoned man (John Cusack). The lover is — of course — Nicole.
And boy does she get some love in return!! Her man AND Zefron! That lucky trollop!
Not only does she get to show off her sexual prowess in a prison visiting room under the strict rules of "no touching," but she PEES on Zefron!! WTF is her character into, LOL!?! Ok, ok… Zefron's character did just get stung by a jellyfish but we hear she made it hot. Still… EWW!!
And did she feel uncomfortable?? Nope!! Not this cinematic vet!
She explains her acting strategy:
I think I had to step into a place to play the character where I didn't step out of it and look at myself, so it wasn't hard to shoot.
