I would accept this if it was anyone EXCEPT Sherlock Holmes and John Watson. Like, if this was just another quirky crime show, I'd be all for it. I don't really know how I feel about this bastardization of the story yet. But so help me God, if there is even a HINT of romance between these two since Watson is suddenly female, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle will rise from the grave and kill everyone involved in vengeance.
Re: Katiedora –
You cannot fathom the intensity with which I agree with this comment. If I wanted romance and UST, I'd just watch Castle or something.
Sherlock is fantastic. This is already looking like garbage.
Seems like it's trying to hard to be as witty and intelligent as Sherlock. It is also way too much like the many other crime dramas on American television (Castle and what not) and appears to be going down the same 'romance between the male and female protagonist' route. This is nothing like Sherlock Holmes- what novels/ stories are they actually basing the episodes off? Are they basing them on the books at all, or are they just using the familiar names to pull in viewers?
I'm still offended that this even exists. Just no.
This is going to suck so bad. I just feel sorry for the cast and writers of Sherlock for even being mentioned in the same sentence as this crap.
Re: Mista Busta – I'm with you. Benedict Cumberbatch is SO GOOD on the PBS show, I can't bear to watch another competing version.
Don't fuck with the CLASSICS
Don't think this story has much to do with Sherlock Holmes, but I'll give it a go anyways. Looks like it could be entertaining.
Re: Katiedora –
I know. this isn't the Sherlock Holmes we know and love. it's just another detective in New York with the name 'Sherlock Holmes.'
