We just wanted to take a moment to thank all the men and women who serve and protect us, today and every day, past and present!

We couldn't do what we do if it weren't for you! Your sacrifices and your courage are what makes this country so great.

Cheers to all our armed forces, their families and the fallen heroes of our nation.

HAPPY Memorial Day? It's supposed to be a day of mourning our soldiers!

Thank the vets some other day, moron. Today is about the men and women who died in service to this country. Today isn't about burgers, beaches, or shit that belongs to July 4th. Today is about the dead. Your post is yet more evidence of how crass, stupid, and thoughtless you are. Nice of you to wish everyone a "happy" day when there are thousands and thousands in this country who are struggling with loss. You are an asshole. A clueless asshole.

I agree……something about Happy and Memorial Day that is just plain wrong. Today we remember and honor those we lost who served in our armed forces. It seriously should go back to being celebrated on it's original day and the day that we take advantage of as our get off work day to shop and go to BBQ's. Or the celebration of "official" start summer pool parties and other moments that the fallen don't have the luxory of doing. It is a day to pay respect and "decorate" the graves of the lost/fallen military. What is wrong with you people.

That's really sweet, but Memorial Day:
    noun
Also called Decoration Day. a day, May 30, set aside in most states of the U.S. for observances in memory of DEAD members of the armed forces of all wars: now officially observed on the last Monday in May.

Wishing all the best to those who are serving to come back safely and my condolences to the friends and family who have lost loved ones in the military.

These folks are who keep our country free, however you feel politcally about the ongoing conflicts you need to honor our armed forces.

Super Insulting! Do your research! Memorial Day is a day of remembrance, not "national bbq day" or a day for anything other than to think about those who gave their lives for your right to be so ignorant. Veteran's Day is for thanking soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines, and coast guards. Veteran's day is for those who lost their lives, the day that the country stands beside those families who morn everyday for the loss of their loved ones.
