Back and forth, back and forth… it's all about that money, honey!!
We've heard ALL the rumors about J.Lo refusing to come back to American Idol until they can promise her a bigger paycheck than X Factor's Britney Spears.
But now we're hearing it was the same thing for Mz Spears!!
Apparently BritBrit had a non-negotiable demand too! Sources say she refused to sign the dotted line for anything less than Jenny… asking for $20 mil at first!
…but of course we all know she settled for $15 instead!
So now everyone's just waiting to see if Idol will stroke J.Lo's ego and pay up. And if they don't, you know it's gonna be a MAJOR blow!
Casper better start preppin' that recovery date now! Just in case! Ha!

It's so nice to know that these already beyond anyone's dreams wealthy people are demanding millions of dollars for a season, which is likely only a few MONTHS work, to sit on their asses and judge people who actually have talent.
